About the Role
Premier Global Links LLC is recruiting for a confidential employer seeking a motivated Electrical Engineer (EIT) to support electrical building systems design and MEP engineering projects. This role offers the opportunity to work with experienced Professional Engineers on diverse project types.
Responsibilities
- Assist with electrical design for power distribution, lighting, grounding, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems.
- Prepare electrical drawings, load calculations, specifications, and construction documents.
- Perform engineering calculations and technical analyses under supervision.
- Use AutoCAD, Revit, and related software to develop and update design documents.
- Apply NEC requirements and relevant electrical codes and standards.
- Coordinate electrical designs with other disciplines.
- Review shop drawings, submittals, and RFIs.
- Participate in site visits and field observations.
- Support project schedules, cost estimates, and quality reviews.
- Collaborate with project managers, senior engineers, clients, and contractors.
- Develop technical expertise and work toward Texas Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensure.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
- Active Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification.
- At least 2 years of electrical engineering experience.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical building systems design.
- Understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals and National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
