About the Role
Superior Plus Propane is seeking an experienced Terminal Operator for their Geneva, NY location. This role is crucial to our operations, ensuring the safe and efficient handling of propane.
Responsibilities
- Unload Propane railcars
- Identify and correct any leaks from the tank to equipment connection
- Perform tank maintenance on spare tanks in preparation for service
- Complete tank inspections and repairs
- Proactively communicate with the CSC Manager, drivers, and customers
- Perform daily yard maintenance
- Load Bobtail and Transport trucks using a computerized scale system
- Conduct daily inventory
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree
- Propane industry experience preferred
- 3.1 or other certifications preferred
- CDL with Hazmat/ Tanker endorsement preferred
- Schedule flexibility: Evening & weekend shifts and weekly overtime are required
- Ability to multi-task in a high-paced atmosphere with strong time management skills
- Legal Authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job opening
