About the Role
Paymentus is seeking an experienced Sr. Product Manager I to lead our roadmap and develop an innovative product that will have a world-changing impact on the future of small business.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team to develop strategic product and feature roadmaps.
- Act as the internal evangelist, building consensus with executives, colleagues, and third parties.
- Define detailed use cases for engineering and design.
- Represent the customer and business during design and development phases.
- Communicate status to stakeholders, resolve issues, and ensure high-quality products are delivered on time.
- Develop launch plans and ensure stakeholder readiness.
- Measure and report on initiative efficacy and develop action plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Computer Science required; MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of product management experience.
- Passionate about user experience.
- Ability to dive into technical details as required.
- Track record in balancing product priorities against budget and timelines.
- Possess strong decision-making and prioritization skills.
- Able to work independently, anticipating and resolving problems.
- Self-motivated and dedicated with proven creative/critical thinking capabilities.
- Strong leadership and excellent interpersonal & communication skills.
- Experience in the payments and/or financial services industries.
- Preferred: Experience developing high-growth small business-facing products and services.
