About the Role
Monitors, inspects, and completes tasks for Water Restoration jobs, ensuring completion of drying, demolition, and various restoration activities. Prepares and reviews documentation for insurance reimbursement and explains processes to customers.
Responsibilities
- Retrieves work orders, checks route, and ensures appropriate equipment and supplies are loaded for the job.
- Explains job processes and next steps to customers.
- Completes assigned jobs while maintaining quality control.
- Performs water damage repair, including extraction, content pack-out, material removal/disposal, and light construction/demolition.
- Ensures proper handling of equipment, supplies, vehicles, and products, reporting any malfunctions.
- Inspects completed jobs, obtains customer signatures for approval, and requests payments.
- Performs daily monitoring and tasks on assigned water jobs for residential and commercial customers.
- Makes daily adjustments to the drying plan based on meter readings.
- Resolves customer issues and communicates job activities with supervisors and staff.
- Prepares documentation and pictures according to company policies for insurance reimbursement.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Good customer service skills.
- Experience with using mobile software to enter data.
- Ability to read and follow product label usage instructions.
- Ability to report to work on time in a clean, complete uniform.
- Must be able to prioritize activities and meet deadlines.
- Ability to move up to 70 pounds often.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, requiring lifting, squatting, crawling, and crouching.
- Ability to express or exchange ideas quickly and act on detailed information.
- Ability to use a respirator that can seal to the face.
- Ability to use visual acuity for detail-oriented activities.
