About the Role
Lead complex IT and transformation projects in the European energy sector, ensuring successful implementation by establishing clear structures and managing collaboration between departments, IT, operations, external service providers, and management. Maintain focus on goals, dependencies, and risks to drive projects from planning to completion.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage project organizations, governance structures, and decision-making processes.
- Develop and manage integrated project plans and roadmaps.
- Manage requirements, dependencies, risks, and scope changes.
- Coordinate IT implementation, including development, testing, acceptance, go-live, and operational handover.
- Manage external service providers and implementation partners.
- Manage stakeholders and prepare/support decision-making and steering committees.
Requirements
- 4 to 7 years of professional experience in leading complex IT projects, programs, or transformation initiatives.
- Successfully completed Master's degree in a technical, scientific, or business field.
- Demonstrated experience in initiating and setting up projects, including governance, PMO structures, steering models, and selecting appropriate project management methods and approaches.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing IT solutions from requirements definition through development, testing, to production.
- Solid experience in requirements, scope, risk, and stakeholder management, and at the interface between business, IT, and operations.
- Experience in managing external service providers, software vendors, and implementation partners.
- Experience in regulated industries, critical infrastructures, or large enterprise environments is advantageous.
- Fluent English and German language skills.
