About the Role

Sustain and extend GE HealthCare's global leadership in contrast media and build the marketing engine for its next generation of products. This role owns downstream marketing for the largest portfolio in Pharmaceutical Diagnostics, establishing global standards, capabilities, and operating rhythms for regional execution. The position requires managing mature brands while shifting to a standardized, digital-first, and insight-led marketing model, and preparing for a significant new product launch.

Responsibilities

  • Own the global downstream marketing strategy for contrast media, translating segment objectives into an integrated brand, demand generation, and market access agenda.
  • Lead marketing components of Worldwide Product Planning (WWPP) and Long Term Strategy (LTS) for Contrast Media.
  • Direct global market research and competitive intelligence, consolidating insights with regional and customer feedback.
  • Own global brand positioning, segmentation, targeting, and messaging architecture, approving regional adaptations and enforcing consistency.
  • Provide key inputs into Strategy Reviews and resource planning, including market sizing, forecasting, share models, and investment requirements.
  • Allocate global downstream budget across brands, regions, and channels.
  • Own the global defense strategy for the contrast media portfolio against generic and low-cost competition.
  • Build the evidence-to-message chain to sustain premium preference, focusing on patient safety, dose and workflow efficiency, supply reliability, sustainability, and total cost of care.
  • Lead lifecycle management, including indication and presentation expansion, packaging and delivery-system innovation, injector and digital ecosystem tie-ins, and portfolio rationalization.
  • Own global downstream launch readiness for new contrast agents, from pre-launch market shaping through launch execution.
  • Build and execute the market preparation agenda ahead of new product approval, including disease- and pathway-level education, unmet-need framing, KOL engagement, and payer/reimbursement pathway development.
  • Equip commercial teams with necessary knowledge, materials, and tools for launch.
  • Build a repeatable launch capability.
  • Continue the shift to a digital-first, omni-channel model, owning channel strategy and customer journey across various digital touchpoints.
  • Own the martech platform strategy and tool management for Contrast Media.
  • Replace duplicated global and regional activity with one standardized system, including global campaigns, content libraries, common templates, and a defined operating rule for regions.
  • Establish the measurement system, including a defined global KPI set, campaign and channel attribution, ROMI/ROI analysis, and dashboards.
  • Deploy AI and automation across various marketing functions, setting standards for responsible use.
  • Set performance goals, coach direct reports, build succession, and drive a capability-building agenda for digital, analytical, and launch skills.
  • Partner with sales leadership and commercial teams for aligned go-to-market execution and performance tracking.
  • Partner with medical affairs, regulatory, legal, compliance, market access, and supply chain to align strategy.
  • Ensure all marketing activity complies with applicable regulations and policies.
  • Provide organizational leadership for an effective Advertising and Promotional Review system.
  • Lead change management to transition the organization to a standardized, digital, launch-ready model.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in product marketing, including extensive experience in the full marketing mix.
  • Demonstrated digital and martech leadership, having personally driven a shift from analog to omni-channel with measurable results.
  • Experience in standardization and operating-model design to implement global playbooks.
  • Launch experience across multiple categories and large markets, including pre-launch market shaping and launch governance.
  • Advanced analytical, forecasting, and financial acumen, with command of marketing measurement (ROMI/ROI).
  • Strong influencing and executive communication skills across business functions and geographies.
  • Experience in change management and team scaling.
  • Ability to motivate diverse, cross-functional, multi-cultural teams.
  • Healthcare product and industry acumen, preferably in diagnostic imaging, contrast media, or pharmaceutical imaging agents.
