About the Role
Harry Rosen is seeking an Operations Associate to join their Store team. This role is crucial for managing client transactions, supporting OMNI services, maintaining store standards, and providing exceptional customer service within a luxury retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Control and process client transactions accurately through the POS system.
- Collect and update client contact information.
- Support service desk activities, ensuring it is clean, organized, and stocked.
- Provide basic client resolution services and escalate issues when necessary.
- Manage daily cash handling functions, including register operations and bank deposits.
- Identify, report, and troubleshoot common errors and discrepancies.
- Support picking E-Commerce and IST orders, meeting targeted pick rates.
- Assist with Buy Online, Pick Up In Store (BOPIS) operations.
- Support logistics functions with on-the-floor activities like markdowns and re-tagging.
- Maintain the store in a neat and organized manner, ensuring merchandise reflects standards.
- Monitor return items, re-stock, and support overall stock levels.
- Assist the visual team with seasonal merchandise changes, displays, and special events.
- Assist with season inventory preparations and counts.
- Support clients on the sales floor with basic inquiries when required.
- Support with daily tasks and ad-hoc projects.
- Adhere to all Harry Rosen philosophies, processes, and standards.
- Deliver consistent and exceptional service through established standards.
- Provide cross-functional team support.
- Demonstrate Core Values.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of retail experience, preferably in a luxury environment, in a customer-facing role.
- Experience with shipping, receiving, merchandising, order fulfillment, and inventory management in a retail environment.
- Experience working in a client-facing role at the service desk, providing exceptional customer service is preferred.
- A strong service orientation – a demonstrated desire to wow our customers!
- Demonstrated interest in technology and how to use tech innovations to support the retail Customer Service function.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong multi-tasking skills and the ability to calmly and efficiently manage customers.
