About the Role
Spring Oak Berlin is seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Medication Aides (CMAs) to join their team. This role involves building relationships with residents and making a positive impact on their daily lives.
Responsibilities
- Administer routine medications in accordance with physician orders, care plans, and New Jersey requirements.
- Assist residents with personal care and daily activities while supporting their dignity and independence.
- Observe and report changes in residents' conditions to the Wellness team.
- Document medication administration and resident care accurately.
- Work under the direction of the nurse, Director of Wellness, or supervisor to provide attentive, compassionate care.
Requirements
- Current and valid CMA certification.
- Ability to follow individualized care plans and medication procedures.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience in assisted living or senior living is preferred.
