About the Role
As a Southern Star Starlink Technician, you will install and service Starlink, the high-speed satellite internet connecting homes across rural and underserved communities. You will act as a technology ambassador, getting customers online and guiding them on how to maximize their new service.
Responsibilities
- Install and service Starlink equipment.
- Act as a technology ambassador for customers.
- Show customers how to make the most of their new service.
- Offer customers additional products and services during installs.
Requirements
- Strong technical knowledge.
- Ability to climb ladders up to 38 ft.
- Ability to work in crawl spaces.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
- Pass a background check.
- Pass a drug screen.
- Pass a Motor Vehicle Record check.

Salary/Compensations
- Training/Base pay rate of $19.00 per hour.
- Guaranteed Hourly Rate of $23.00 per hour upon completion of training through your first 9 months.
- Base rate increases by $0.50 upon completion of 60 days of employment.
