About the Role
Heartstrings Pet Hospice provides gentle hospice and in-home euthanasia care to pets and their families. This role allows veterinarians to practice medicine without the pace and pressure of a traditional clinic, focusing on providing compassionate end-of-life care in a home setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide gentle hospice and in-home euthanasia care to pets.
- Conduct a few appointments per day, allowing ample time for listening and explaining.
- Practice independently on the road while having team support available.
- Answer difficult questions with kindness and help families say goodbye with dignity.
- Manage a self-managed schedule with options for 2 to 5 days per week.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS).
- Valid U.S. Driver's License.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 90 lbs with assistance.
- Candidates will complete license verification, a background check, and a driving record review.

Salary/Compensations
- 5-Day Full-Time: $155,000 Base Salary, Plus Generous Quarterly Bonus Opportunities
- 4-Day Full-Time: Starting at $140,000, Plus Generous Quarterly Bonus Opportunities
- 2 & 3-Day Full-Time & Self Managed Part-Time Schedules: Prorated Compensation Based on Your Schedule
- Self-Manages Schedules Available: Call To Discuss Compensation & Quarterly Bonus Structure
