About the Role
Manage advisor block transfers and ensure client policies reflect accurate and timely updates of servicing and commissionable broker changes. Serve as a key liaison between brokers and insurance carriers, maintaining strong relationships to facilitate smooth transfer workflows. Prepare and submit transfer documentation, maintain broker and block transfer records in WealthServ, and resolve discrepancies through thorough investigation. Contribute to ongoing projects that support the broader Licensed Inforce and Reassignments team.
Responsibilities
- Process advisor Buy/Sell agreements on block transfers and Reassignments to ensure full servicing and commission changes reflecting the advisor and MGA changes
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with insurance companies and work in partnership with them to facilitate timely processing of transfer requests
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date broker and block transfer information in WealthServ
- Follow up consistently with carriers to ensure transfer requests are completed within the required timelines
- Obtain client listings from insurance companies as required to complete investigations or block transfers
- Prepare and submit transfer forms to brokers and insurance companies
- Support transfer investigations and resolve discrepancies as they arise
- Participate in project work
Requirements

- A collaborative mindset and comfort building relationships with internal and external partners
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Word and Excel & most online meeting platforms
- Experience in financial services, insurance, or MGA operations is an asset
- Experience in contracting and block transfers is an asset
- Experience using APEXA and WealthServ is an asset
