About the Role

Develop process-based master data architectures for SAP S/4HANA programs based on central end-to-end processes such as Lead-to-Cash, Source-to-Pay, Plan-to-Fulfill, Record-to-Report, and Hire-to-Retire. Derive, structure, and prioritize relevant master data objects from target processes, especially for Business Partner and Material Master/Product Master. Responsible for the E2E consistency of master data. Moderate workshops between functional streams. Steer master data decisions in agile or hybrid SAP project environments. Collaborate closely with Data Migration, Cutover, and adjacent architecture roles.

Responsibilities

Development of process-based master data architectures for SAP S/4HANA programs based on central end-to-end processes like Lead-to-Cash, Source-to-Pay, Plan-to-Fulfill, Record-to-Report, and Hire-to-Retire.
Derivation, structuring, and prioritization of relevant master data objects from target processes, especially for Business Partner and Material Master/Product Master.
Responsibility for the E2E consistency of master data.
Moderation of workshops between functional streams.
Steering of master data decisions in agile or hybrid SAP project environments.
Close collaboration with Data Migration, Cutover, and adjacent architecture roles.

Requirements

Several years of experience in SAP transformation, SAP S/4HANA, or ERP implementation programs.
Very good understanding of the requirements and procedures in Cloud ERP such as SAP Activate, Fit-to-Standard, or Clean Core.
Very good understanding of central SAP master data objects, especially: Business Partner / Customer / Supplier, Material Master / Product Master, and relevant master data objects in Logistics and Finance.
Understanding of the dependencies between master data, processes, authorizations, interfaces, migration, reporting, testing, and operations.
Experience with data quality, data cleansing, mapping logic, transformation rules, and migration preparation.
Experience with architecture boards, design authorities, governance bodies, or comparable decision-making formats.
Very good German and English, spoken and written.
