About the Role
As a Software Engineer on our mobile team, you'll build the Mantle app that families keep in their pocket, making it feel calm, fast and under control. You'll own our mobile experience end-to-end, from architecture to App Store, work directly with founders and design on product direction, and bring our AI agent to life on the phone.
Responsibilities
- Own the mobile experience end-to-end, from architecture to App Store.
- Work directly with founders and design on product direction.
- Bring the AI agent to life on the phone.
- Develop consumer mobile applications including onboarding, messaging with our AI agent, family dashboards, and core workflows.
- Build AI agent experiences on mobile that make powerful capabilities feel intuitive and trustworthy.
- Create notification and messaging systems that keep families informed at the right moments.
- Establish mobile architecture, release processes, and quality standards.
- Ensure secure handling of sensitive personal and financial information on device.
- Implement instrumentation and monitoring to understand app usage and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
- 2-10 years building production mobile applications.
- Track record of shipping and maintaining consumer apps in the App Store and Google Play.
- Comfort working across the stack with React, Node.js and APIs on AWS.
- Experience building consumer mobile apps where UX, performance and reliability matter.
- Understanding of product development and user-centric design, including accessibility.
