About the Role
The Sales Associate helps provide customers with a positive shopping experience while supporting daily store operations during the busy holiday season. This role involves assisting customers with product selection, promoting merchandise and store events, processing purchases, and keeping displays organized and well-stocked. Sales Associates work with store management and team members to support sales goals, maintain an inviting shopping environment, and deliver excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and helpful customer service.
- Assist customers with merchandise selection and product questions.
- Promote store products, sales, and special events.
- Process customer purchases and transactions accurately.
- Stock, replenish, and organize merchandise displays.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor.
- Work with team members and management to support daily store operations and sales goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Previous retail, customer service, or sales experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable, with a strong work ethic and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and handle customer concerns professionally.
- Comfortable using technology and willing to learn new systems, store policies, and procedures.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts.
- Ability to lift and move merchandise weighing up to 25 pounds.
