About the Role

We are looking for a Test Engineering Manager to lead the validation of IoT and computer vision products.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Test & Validation team, building technical capability, system-level thinking, ownership, and accountability.
  • Own product validation across hardware, firmware, software, cloud, connectivity, and customer workflows.
  • Partner with global R&D teams to define validation plans, test coverage, integration checkpoints, performance targets, and release criteria.
  • Ensure complete system testing across device onboarding, telemetry, connectivity, data flow, performance, customer workflows, regression, and recovery scenarios.
  • Monitor and evaluate product performance against defined quality, reliability, and business-critical metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Identify integration gaps, dependencies, and failure modes early and drive structured root-cause analysis across R&D, Product, Manufacturing, Field, and customer-facing teams.
  • Own validation dashboards and executive reports showing test progress, critical defects, performance trends, open risks, and launch readiness.
  • Lead final validation reviews and provide Go / Conditional Go / No-Go recommendations for pilot, deployment, and scale readiness.

Requirements

  • Must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the US (e.g., Green card holders, TN visa holders, GC EAD, H4 EAD, U4U with EAD), as we are unable to sponsor or take over employment visa sponsorship at this time.
  • 7+ years of experience in product validation, systems engineering, integration testing, quality engineering, or product development.
  • Demonstrated experience leading technical teams and complex cross-functional validation programs.
  • Experience validating complex connected products.
  • Strong understanding of system-level integration, reliability, regression, performance, and field validation.
  • Experience defining validation strategies, test plans, release criteria, and measurable acceptance metrics.
  • Experience validating embedded systems, including hardware–firmware integration, device functionality, interfaces, and system-level performance.
  • Experience developing and implementing automated testing frameworks to improve test coverage, repeatability, efficiency, and regression testing.
  • Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills across multidisciplinary systems.
  • Experience with product KPIs, validation dashboards, defect trends, and data-driven readiness decisions.
  • Ability to lead, coach, mentor, and develop engineers while setting clear priorities and accountability.
  • Ability to translate complex technical findings into clear product and business risk recommendations.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, globally distributed environment.
