About the Role
As a Sales Associate, you will create personalized shopping experiences for customers, drive brand loyalty, and operate as part of a dynamic team to achieve business goals. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining product knowledge, and contributing to the store's overall success.
Responsibilities
- Create personalized shopping experiences for customers.
- Drive brand loyalty through exceptional service.
- Greet customers promptly and courteously.
- Address customer questions accurately and respond before they leave.
- Provide exceptional service from start to finish.
- Effectively communicate the return policy.
- Maintain a positive, cheerful attitude with customers and team members.
- Promote the store and brand image in all interactions.
- Adhere to the dress code.
- Provide exceptional customer service to in-store customers and phone inquiries.
- Operate the cash register.
- Handle money accurately.
- Check inventory daily.
- Ensure products are stocked and available for customers.
- Merchandise product in accordance with Visual Merchandising standards.
- Maintain a clean and well-organized back-stock area and employee break area.
- Practice safety-consciousness.
- Respond to theft in accordance with policies.
- Report to work on time.
- Notify the Store Manager in advance if late or absent.
Requirements
- Two (2) years of retail store experience preferred.
- High School Diploma.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to convey the Deckers Brands Vision and Mission to team members and customers.
- Highly motivated team player and self-starter.
- Flexibility of schedule and hours to meet the needs of the business.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of tools and applications.
- Valid driver’s license.
