About the Role
LGT Wealth Management UK LLP is seeking a Project Manager to lead planning, execution, and delivery of complex initiatives. This role involves managing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and stakeholder expectations.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource needs.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for project execution.
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, facilitating communication and managing requirements.
- Identify and mitigate operational and project-related risks and issues.
- Track initiative progress, provide status updates, and detailed reports to stakeholders.
- Analyze and optimize existing processes to support strategic goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field.
- Master’s degree is advantageous.
- Relevant certifications in Project Management methodologies are a plus.
- Several years of experience in project management within the financial services sector or a related industry.
- Proven experience in managing projects of varying sizes and complexities.
- Experience with Agile methodologies is beneficial.
- Experience with process optimization projects is beneficial.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities efficiently.
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Exceptional problem-solving mindset and analytical skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Proficient in project management tools and methodologies.
- Familiarity with project management software such as Microsoft Project or JIRA is beneficial.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English and the respective local language.
- Leads the planning, execution, and delivery of complex initiatives, adapting standard project management practices to novel challenges.
- Evaluates project risks, streamlines processes, and drives stakeholder engagement to ensure reliable delivery.
- Provides clear direction in cross-functional projects, proactively manages stakeholder expectations, and addresses project obstacles to achieve agreed outcomes.
- Contributes insights and recommends process improvements for broader team benefit.
- Takes initiative in managing projects, recommends process or methodology enhancements, and aligns broader changes or innovations with management.
- Operates with moderate oversight, particularly on projects with higher impact or visibility.
- Competent and reliable in applying LGT competencies within their role.
