About the Role
Guest Service Associates provide guests with a high level of service, actively engaging them to ensure they are sold the complete solution for their purchases. Associates will also assist with carry-out and loading of guest purchases, and with the upkeep of products including re-stocking, watering, and maintaining plant material.
Responsibilities
- Actively selling department product, including suggesting add-ons and explaining benefits.
- Actively supporting and promoting sales, marketing, and merchandising initiatives.
- Providing guests with an exceptional shopping experience.
- Offering carry-out assistance with purchases.
- Loading or unloading product as required.
- Greeting guests as they enter the store and ensuring their needs are met.
- Assisting with watering and maintaining live plant material.
- Stocking of product as required.
- Participating with the store team in achieving service excellence, store readiness, cleanliness, safety, and compliance.
- Assisting with other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Ability to stand for the majority of the shift with bending and squatting at various times.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays as scheduled.
