About the Role
DOC Services Inc. is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical failures on electromechanical equipment in big-box retail environments. This role involves performing preventive maintenance, responding to service calls, and ensuring equipment operates seamlessly.
Responsibilities
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical failures on electromechanical equipment.
- Performing preventive maintenance while adhering to OSHA safety standards.
- Skillfully using hand and power tools for equipment assembly, disassembly, and repair.
- Promptly responding to service calls to keep clients’ equipment operating seamlessly.
- Communicating effectively with customers and colleagues, embodying commitment to top-tier service.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED.
- 2+ years of equipment repair experience or equivalent training.
- Strong mechanical and electrical skills, with the ability to read schematics.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a professional attitude.
- Ability to work independently, pay close attention to detail, and remain organized.
- Physical capability to stand, bend, drive for extended periods, lift up to 75 lbs, and work at heights over 6 feet.
