About the Role
McMahon Truck Centers is seeking Diesel Technicians to join their growing team. This is an opportunity to develop a career within the commercial vehicle industry at a family-owned and operated organization.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment.
- Review repair orders, observe vehicles, determine malfunctions, and plan work procedures.
- Follow checklists to ensure all critical parts are examined.
- Tag all warranty parts and returns to the parts department.
- Attend training classes and stay updated on factory technical bulletins.
- Complete assigned services and repairs according to training.
- Adhere to safety requirements and published procedures.
- Utilize technical training as assigned by management.
- Maintain an organized and clean workspace.
- Exhibit courtesy to all guests, visitors, and dealership personnel.
Requirements
- 2 years of previous experience as a technician or mechanic in heavy equipment/trucks preferred.
- Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical schematics.
- Must possess own tools.
- Valid Class A CDL or ability to obtain one.
- Clean Driving Record and Valid Driver's License.
