Responsibilities
- Direct and implement a preventive maintenance program.
- Coordinate and implement necessary equipment repairs to support day-to-day facility operations.
- Adhere to standard operating procedures and ensure environmental and health/safety compliance.
- Perform routine maintenance and repair on all facilities related equipment.
- Perform installations of electrical, process piping, plumbing, and control systems.
- Aid in the development and modification of maintenance procedures.
- Aid in the training and development of associates.
- Make necessary contacts with outside vendors for service and information.
- Ensure completion of work orders safely and effectively based on priority and schedules, while meeting organizational requirements and supporting company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Problems are typically difficult and/or high impact.
- Troubleshoots complex support or operational problems for junior level associates.
- Under limited supervision, independently resolves issues and applies a variety of methods to develop customized solutions.
- May lead the daily operations of a department or team.
- Work typically involves infrequent review of output by a supervisor or direct customers of the process.
- Assists with supervisory duties but does not have hiring/firing authority.
- Trains, delegates tasks, and reviews the work of junior level associates.
Experience Level
- Generally 7+ years of experience in area of responsibility.
Education Level
- Technical certification or associate degree may be required in some areas.
