About the Role
The Rock Shop Associate (RSA) is the experienced companion during the guest's shopping tour. Hard Rock Merchandise is a unique part of our company that requires a special person as a salesperson. As an RSA, you are the tour guide, entertainer, decision-maker, memorabilia expert, and musician (at least in heart).
Responsibilities
- Greeting guests
- Answering questions correctly and politely
- Answering phone calls
- Executing sales transactions using the electronic cash register system
- Handling cash and other payment methods conscientiously
- Correct handling of cash register inventory
- Providing guests with information about the different areas of the restaurant
- Demonstrating flawless knowledge of all products
- Conducting active sales conversations to address guest wishes and needs and to introduce them to Hard Rock products
- Suggestive selling using proven techniques
- Maintaining a clean and organized shop area
- Ensuring sufficient merchandise is available in the shop (restocking inventory and performing inventory counts)
- Displaying HRC merchandise according to HRC window and fixture guidelines
- Setting up and dismantling the workspace, additional tasks such as cleaning windows, polishing metal, sweeping and vacuuming the floor, folding clothes, etc.
- Ensuring the satisfaction of all guests
- Creating unforgettable Hard Rock Cafe experiences
- Serving guests according to the Hard Rock motto
Requirements
- Performing tasks that require bending, stooping, lifting, and standing for long periods
- Maintaining a neat appearance
- Adhering to uniform guidelines
- Executing safety and hygiene standards
- Waste recycling wherever possible
- Remaining calm and maintaining an overview in a hectic environment
- A high degree of organization, attention to detail, and sense of urgency
- A positive and open attitude towards guests and colleagues
- Adhering to the 5 HRC core values and mission statement
