About the Role
Mesh moves money across hundreds of exchanges, wallets and chains. The data generated is a product in its own right, used for client insights, financial reporting, and AI-driven analysis. You will define, instrument, validate, and ship data, working with SQL and Python to build safeguards for AI data querying.
Responsibilities
- Own product and client analytics, defining core metrics and maintaining Amplitude data with reusable charts.
- Build internal and external dashboards for clients.
- Run experiment readouts, baselining and analyzing A/B tests to inform product decisions.
- Prove migrations with data by building apples-to-apples comparisons between platforms.
- Guard data integrity by running and automating daily reconciliation triage and verification.
- Shape instrumentation by defining backend event schemas, tracking plans, and normalizing fields.
- Build finance-grade reporting on Microsoft Fabric / Power BI with validation, alerting, and self-serve access.
- Make data AI-native by building tools for internal data agents, auditing agent-generated SQL, and maintaining self-serve data channels.
- Turn data into client products by shaping self-serve reporting, reconciliation, and billing exports.
Requirements
- Expert in SQL (T-SQL / SQL Server and Spark SQL a plus) and solid in Python.
- Hands-on with product analytics (Amplitude, Mixpanel or similar), including event design and funnel/CVR modeling.
- Comfortable with experiment design and statistics for A/B readouts.
- Experienced building data quality checks, reconciliations, or backfills on production data.
- Habit of validating numbers against source systems before sharing.
- Clear writer capable of explaining data issues to engineers, CROs, and clients.
- Daily user of AI coding and analysis tools.
- Approximately 3+ years in analytics or data engineering.
- Approximately 5+ years with end-to-end ownership of a data domain.
