About the Role
Working within London Heathrow Airport, the Service Technician will be performing maintenance duties to ensure productivity and output, equipment availability, health & safety compliance and quality.
Responsibilities
- Performing maintenance duties to ensure productivity and output, equipment availability, health & safety compliance and quality.
- Ensuring a top condition of the various installations.
- Performing malfunction and maintenance work as well as carrying out preventive and periodic maintenance, in collaboration with colleagues.
- Resolving mechanical, electrical and any control technical faults.
Requirements
- Extensive walking, including navigating various levels of the baggage systems and working at heights.
- Comfortable with prolonged periods of walking and standing.
- Lifting and moving heavy objects including baggage, motors, and rollers, with weights up to 75kg.
- Proper lifting techniques and safety protocols must be always followed.
- Ability to work comfortably in tight areas and follow all safety guidelines for such environments.
- Work environment may have high noise levels; appropriate PPE will be provided, and adherence to safety regulations regarding noise exposure is mandatory.
- Any pre-existing medical history that may affect the ability to perform the duties of the role must be taken into consideration when applying.
- Enthusiastic and proactive attitude.

- Willingness to work shifts including nights.
- Experience with maintenance planning.
