Responsibilities

Underwrite new and renewal business in accordance with underwriting authority and guidelines.
Assist the senior underwriter/manager in other underwriting activities, including research, reporting, analysis, and presentations.
Focus primarily on the London Open Market Cargo portfolio, while also supporting the Logistics segment of the LOB and UK Regional/European business as required.
Support broker and client development/relationship goals, including overseas travel as required.
Contribute to key performance metrics for the LOB, including GWP, Gross Loss Ratio, Acquisition Cost, Rate Change, Appetite/Risk Selection, and Pricing Adequacy.
Meet all compliance and governance requirements.
Contribute to continuous operational and underwriting improvement.
Develop technical expertise in identified specialist areas of opportunity.

Requirements

University degree preferred.
ACII preferred.
