About the Role
The Services Sales Consultant (SSC) is a pre-sales professional focused on technology evangelism and developing custom services solutions to drive business growth. This role involves architecting and sizing service components for the Cloudflare platform, presenting the business value of technology and services integration, and growing the Cloudflare professional services business by engaging directly with customers to define service requirements. The SSC operates in a fast-paced environment, creating tailored services wrappers to meet unique customer needs and collaborating with various internal teams including Services Sales, Core and Specialist Sales, and Delivery teams.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Services Sales to define Cloudflare's Go-to-Market (GTM) services approach.
- Showcase delivery capabilities, IP, and expertise through success stories.
- Gather, understand, and define customer-specific requirements and expectations for value-based outcomes in workshop scenarios.
- Collaborate with Services Sales, Delivery, and Global Practices to construct solution proposals and Statements of Work.
- Collaborate with Services Sales to drive business growth for Cloudflare Services in the aligned territory.
Requirements
- 5+ years of proven experience in technical consulting, pre-sales, or service delivery within an IT or Cybersecurity services organization.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated experience in discovery/scope definition workshops with cross-functional internal and customer resources.
- Experience working across multiple regions.
- Cybersecurity experience preferred.
- Experience and familiarity with using SFDC or similar CRM tools.
- Cloudflare Platform experience is an asset.
