About the Role

The Product Data Coordinator, EU Specifications & Compliance is responsible for maintaining accurate product information and translating input into compliant UK and EU product specifications and documentation. This role supports product launches, portfolio management, and audit readiness using the company's Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system.

Responsibilities

  • Own assigned product and specification records in PLM and support associated SAP product data requirements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, currency, and traceability.
  • Coordinate product data creation, review, approval, and change workflows according to established governance, templates, naming conventions, and standard operating procedures.
  • Create, review, and maintain finished-product specifications using approved supplier, formulation, manufacturing, quality, packaging, artwork, and regulatory source information.
  • Validate the consistency of product attributes and supporting evidence, including ingredient, allergen, nutrition, claims, packaging, and supplier documentation.
  • Enable effective management of product and compliance data, ensuring supporting evidence is available for regulatory, quality, and operational processes.
  • Support artwork, pack-copy, and customer-documentation workflows by providing accurate approved product information and identifying data gaps or inconsistencies.
  • Partner with US Product Data Coordinators and UK-EU Regulatory Affairs, EU Quality, Packaging, Procurement, Agriculture, Commercial, NPD, R&T, Project Management Teams, and IT/PLM teams to resolve data and specification issues.
  • Support remediation of legacy or incomplete records and contribute to continuous improvement of product data and specification processes.
  • Track assigned work, provide clear status updates, and escalate risks that may affect data integrity, specification completion, launch timing, or audit readiness.
  • Apply approved regulatory, quality, and customer requirements within product records and specifications; escalate any data gaps or artwork inconsistency matters to Regulatory Affairs.
  • Support audit and inspection readiness by maintaining complete data in specifications and striving for continued data accuracy excellence across teams.

Requirements

  • Experience in product data, product specifications, food technical, quality, packaging, or regulatory support environments.
  • Strong attention to detail and demonstrated ability to maintain accurate, structured, and traceable product information.
  • Practical experience using PLM, ERP/SAP, specification databases, Excel, or comparable digital product data systems.
  • Working knowledge of UK and EU food labelling, specification, and documentation requirements.
  • Ability to evaluate source information, identify inconsistencies or evidence gaps, and communicate clear actions to cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong organization, prioritization, and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across regions and functions.
  • Experience maintaining finished-product specifications, managing supplier technical documentation, and supporting artwork, pack-copy, customer-documentation, or audit-readiness activities.
  • Experience working across Product Data, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Packaging, Procurement, NPD, or Commercial teams, including collaboration with colleagues in other regions, is beneficial.
  • Limited travel, as needed, to support cross-functional meetings, UK-EU business requirements, supplier or documentation reviews, and visits between manufacturing sites in the greater London area.
