About the Role
We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic, and qualified Lunchtime Sports Coach to join our team at Montpelier Primary School in Ealing W5. You will spend two hours each lunchtime getting children active, engaged, and having fun, delivering exciting sports and games that build confidence, teamwork, and a love of physical activity. There are opportunities for additional hours in our After School Club.
Responsibilities
- Deliver fun, inclusive, and age-appropriate activities such as Football, Basketball, Netball, Dodgeball, Multi-sports, Team games and challenges.
- Lead engaging sports sessions for children of different ages and abilities.
- Encourage children to get involved, stay active, and have fun.
- Promote teamwork, confidence, and positive behaviour.
- Adapt activities to ensure sessions are inclusive.
- Supervise children and maintain a safe environment.
- Set up and safely pack away sports equipment.
- Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and company procedures.
- Work positively with school staff and the wider JAG team.
Requirements
- Hold a minimum Level 2 qualification in Sports Coaching or PE.
- Be confident leading sports sessions or clubs.
- Complete our application process — CVs alone cannot be accepted.
- Provide two satisfactory references, including one from their most recent employer.
- Undergo an Enhanced DBS check (unless already registered on the DBS Update Service, subject to the required checks).
- Provide documentation to support identity, right to work, and vetting requirements.
- All safeguarding checks must be successfully completed before employment can commence.

- Committed to safeguarding and children's wellbeing.
- Previous experience in sports coaching, PE, children's activities, youth work or education is highly desirable.

- Monday to Friday
- 11:30am–1:30pm
- 2 hours per day
- Opportunity for additional hours in our After School Club | 3:00pm–6:00pm
Education Level
- Minimum Level 2 qualification in Sports Coaching or PE required
