About the Role
NEC is seeking a UC & Network Systems Engineer to join our Field Services team in Sydney. This role involves providing on-site and remote support for voice and data network environments, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Unified Communications (UC) and network infrastructure for enterprise and government customers. You will ensure the ongoing availability, performance, and reliability of customer environments while meeting service levels and delivering exceptional customer outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Manage incidents and requests to support calls.
- Manage problems to support issues.
- Manage changes, including hardware moves, adds, and changes.
- Manage spares for break-fix situations.
- Collaborate with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
- Maintain accurate documentation and service records.
- Utilize tools like Wireshark, RTMT, and Cisco diagnostics for real-time monitoring and fault resolution.
- Perform maintenance, upgrades, and system health checks.
Requirements
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Proven expertise in ICT project delivery and support.
- Capacity to learn and adapt to innovative technologies.
- Strong customer service focus.
- Availability for on-call and after-hours support.
- Possess a Working with Children Card.
- Obtain a National Police Clearance.
