About the Role
Map Solutionsチームは、AD/ADAS開発に高品質な地図・地理空間データを安定して提供し、機械学習モデルの学習、シミュレーション、システム評価を支えています。地図データの調達・加工・維持に加え、社内の多様なチームがさまざまな空間データを効率よく活用できるようツールも開発しています。本ポジションはMap Sourcing & Compilationサブチームに所属し、次世代自動運転システムの開発・評価に使われる地図データを整備します。
Responsibilities
- Lead the internal map release for in-vehicle (onboard) development, covering specification, conversion, verification, and delivery.
- Design and maintain internal map specifications, and build/operate format conversion and post-processing pipelines to transform vendor data into these specifications.
- Build and operate quality verification processes to ensure data integrity, defining check items and metrics for each release.
- Provide ground truth maps for non-vehicle (offboard) development, including machine learning labeling, simulation, and system evaluation.
- Manage licenses (data usage permits, etc.) for data and software used in internal development and promote appropriate usage.
- Evaluate and manage vendor data coverage and quality against internal standards.
- Adapt pipelines to support diverse road types and various map types (navigation maps, ADAS maps, etc.) for different systems.
- Share map data expertise within the team through process documentation and member training.
Requirements
- Over 5 years of practical experience in software or data engineering.
- Experience in designing and operating large-scale data conversion and processing pipelines.
- Practical skills in Python, Rust, Go, or C++ at a professional level.
- Practical experience in agile development and AI-driven development (e.g., using AI coding tools).
- Business-level English proficiency.
- A bachelor's degree in a related field such as Computer Science, Surveying, or Geoinformatics, or equivalent practical experience.
