About the Role
This senior role serves as the financial leader for the core business, partnering with product, marketing, and operational leaders to provide financial insights for better commercial decisions, performance management, and cost control.
Responsibilities
- Own monthly financial performance reporting and develop product-level P&L views.
- Lead the annual budget and rolling forecast processes, including scenario modeling.
- Provide commercial finance analysis for key business decisions like pricing, promotions, market expansions/exits, and platform investments.
- Manage the operational cost base, partnering with functional leaders to identify efficiency opportunities and control costs.
- Coach, develop, and mentor direct reports.
- Communicate an inspiring vision and role model competencies for a high-performing team.
Requirements
- 10+ years in Finance with strong FP&A and/or commercial business partnering experience in complex, high growth environments.
- CA, CFA, CPA or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience owning a full budget and forecast cycle for a significant business unit.
- Experience partnering with non-finance leaders in marketing, product, and operations.
- Strong ability to translate financial complexity into clear commercial language.
- Experience in fast-paced industries driven by customer acquisition and retention economics is highly desirable.
- Experience in digital-centric, product-monetisation businesses (e.g., online subscription services, e-commerce, online gaming) is highly desirable.
