About the Role
Captain Cook Cruises, The Jackson and the Starship Group are seeking a Kitchenhand to support catering operations. This role offers a unique work environment on the water with dynamic daily experiences.
Responsibilities
- Set up and stock the kitchen before every cruise
- Maintain cleanliness of surfaces, stations, and equipment
- Wash up and reset stations efficiently during service
- Assist with food preparation and plating
- Receive and organize deliveries, managing stock rotation
- Pack down and reset the vessel after each cruise
Requirements
- Hardworking and reliable with a keen eye for detail
- Ability to maintain composure and pace during busy service
- Commitment to hygiene and food safety standards
- Willingness to support team members
- Stamina for full shifts on feet
- Flexibility for evenings and weekends
- Positive attitude
- A National Criminal History Check forms part of our recruitment process
