- Provide clear and practical guidance to Risk, Compliance, business stakeholders, and client/engagement teams, on KYC requirements and case-specific issues.
- Identify recurring issues, control gaps, and opportunities to improve procedures, templates, systems, and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Minimum of three years of relevant experience performing KYC, AML, and CDD reviews.
- Ability to manage assigned cases accurately and efficiently in a deadline-driven environment.
- Practical knowledge of CDD, ECDD, KYC, and AML processes and requirements.
- Experience with identity verification, beneficial ownership analysis, identification of red flags and suspicious matters, client risk assessment, and review of complex client entity structures and financial crime risk indicators.
- Strong case management and prioritisation skills.
- Experience progressing multiple matters, resolving information gaps, meeting required standards, and escalating issues appropriately.
- Sound understanding of financial crime risk, including jurisdictional risk, sanctions, PEPs, adverse media, and other factors relevant to risk-based KYC/CDD decisions.
- Experience applying KYC, AML, and CDD policies, procedures, and controls.
- Judgement to identify unusual or complex matters and seek guidance where required.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to obtain required information, explain KYC requirements clearly, and work collaboratively across Compliance, Risk, business stakeholders, and client/engagement teams.
