About the Role
We are a Health-Tech company based in Berlin, developing digital further education and media offerings for doctors in German-speaking countries and soon internationally. The project for which we are filling this role is still in stealth mode – therefore without a name here. You will learn who we are and what we are working on in the first conversation. We will treat your application confidentially.
Responsibilities
- You are responsible for the professional correctness, evidence-based nature, and independence of all medical content and define the standards by which we measure ourselves.
- You build scalable review and approval processes that ensure quality without slowing down production.
- You co-decide which topics, specialties, and formats we prioritize – based on clinical need, usage data, and market situation.
- You translate medical requirements into concrete requirements for product and editorial.
- You gain and manage speakers, subject matter experts, and KOLs and are the credible medical contact person for them.
- You represent the company professionally to partners from industry, professional societies, and institutions – including the clear separation of further education and advertising.
- You lead and develop the medical team (editorial, reviewers, freelance doctors) and expand it along with our growth.
- You work closely with management, product, sales, and marketing and contribute the medical perspective early rather than at the end.
Requirements
- You are a licensed physician.
- At least 5 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years outside of pure patient care – e.g., in a company, startup, Medical Affairs, consulting, publishing, or further education/content environment.
- You have worked in a commercially driven environment, know goals, deadlines, and resource scarcity – and can balance professional quality against speed without sacrificing either.
- You can quickly classify and explain complex evidence.
- Experience with medical content for professional circles (further education, editorial, presentations, publications) is expressly desired.
- Hands-on, structured, and decisive approach.
- German at native speaker level (medical content).
- Very good English.
