About the Role

As Head of Product Marketing, your job is to show the market how Aarden thinks about land, in public, every week, and use that as a launching point to make Aarden the most influential and important voice in land markets. You will use Aarden to analyze market events, inform owners and developers of potential opportunities, and elevate these capabilities to a broader audience. The goal is for Aarden to become the go-to resource for understanding changes in American land and to drive conversations with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Hunt for stories by reading daily news across data centers, energy, timber, farmland, and land policy, and comment on key market events.
  • Utilize Aarden technology to analyze market events, outline options for owners and developers, and support findings with historical and present-day patterns.
  • Build Aarden's following on LinkedIn and X by publishing multiple times weekly across company and leadership channels, and grow these audiences.
  • Develop a personal voice and presence on social media platforms.
  • Tell client stories through case studies highlighting their successes and how they partner with Aarden.
  • Translate market attention into sales pipeline by demonstrating the benefits of partnering with Aarden.
  • Communicate with both timber/farmland owners and data center developers, explaining the benefits of working with each other.
  • Establish Aarden as a trusted counterparty by making its rigor, transparency, and track record visible in all publications.
  • Support the data team in analysis and findings.

Requirements

  • Proven experience building an audience, either personally or for an organization.
  • A knack for identifying interesting questions and stories from headlines.
  • Understanding of how capital decisions are made and the ability to write for an investment committee.
  • Ability to distinguish between an interesting map and an actionable opportunity.
  • Proficiency in writing quickly and clearly.
  • Comfort with public speaking when necessary.
  • Comfort with numbers and software, with the ability to ask sharp questions of data.
  • Ability to assess the validity of findings.
  • Strong commitment to accuracy, understanding the impact of data on high-value decisions.
  • Experience in product marketing or content marketing at data and software companies, potentially serving as a public voice for company data.
  • Backgrounds in business journalism or analyst work are considered a plus.
  • Familiarity with land, energy, infrastructure, or investing is helpful, but curiosity is more important.
