About the Role
The Enterprise Architect defines IT solutions for business, clinical, and research challenges by integrating diverse applications, hardware, software, and data analytics. This role aligns IT systems architecture strategy with organizational goals, ensuring adherence to architecture governance and development methodologies. The architect requires a holistic view of IT infrastructure, including networking, servers, cloud environments, security, and various applications.
Responsibilities
- Define IT solutions to business, clinical, and research challenges via architectures, systems, applications, and process components.
- Integrate a variety of applications, diverse hardware, software components, and information/data analytics.
- Define and implement a complementary IT systems architecture strategy aligned with organizational goals.
- Maintain a broad view of the organization's software ecosystem landscape.
- Ensure individual projects adhere to the organization's architecture governance and application development methodology and parameters.
- Create and review design, SOW, proposal, project charter, SBAR, PO, procedures, and standards documentation.
Requirements
- 2 years of architectural experience or previous experience in design and decisioning across multiple disciplines of IT Required
- Strong understanding of Networking (routing, switching, firewalls (e.g., Cisco, Palo Alto), DNS, and network topology) and Azure Cloud Infrastructure Highly Preferred
- General Experience Previous experience in healthcare IT Preferred
