About the Role

As a Manager - Full Stack Engineer, you'll join a Forward Deployment Engineering (FDE) squad focused on rapidly designing and delivering technology solutions that create value for clients and stakeholders. You'll combine hands-on technical depth with strong consulting capability, working directly with stakeholders to understand complex problems, shape pragmatic solutions and turn ideas into working technology at pace.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end design and delivery of full-stack, cloud-native solutions across varied technology stacks, rapidly translating client and stakeholder needs into practical working technology.
  • Design front-end, back-end, API and integration components using scalable patterns including REST, GraphQL, event-driven architectures and microservices across AWS and Azure.
  • Embed DevSecOps and modern engineering practices including CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, automated testing, observability, security controls and platform engineering principles.
  • Operate as a trusted client advisor and hands-on technical leader, working with stakeholders to define problems, challenge assumptions, navigate ambiguity and shape pragmatic solutions aligned to business outcomes.
  • Lead client and technical discussions, communicate complex concepts clearly to varied audiences, and coach engineers while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams throughout delivery.

Requirements

  • Strong full-stack capability across front-end technologies such as React, Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS, and back-end technologies such as Java, Node.js, Python, Golang or comparable enterprise-grade technologies.
  • Experience designing APIs and integration patterns using REST, GraphQL, event-driven architectures and microservices, with cloud-native engineering across AWS and/or Azure, including Docker, Kubernetes and serverless architectures.
  • Demonstrated consulting experience alongside technical depth, including structured problem solving, requirements discovery, stakeholder facilitation and the ability to navigate ambiguity and changing priorities.
  • Ability to build credibility with clients, challenge constructively, influence technical and business decisions, and translate between business outcomes and technical solutions for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience, with strong hands-on full-stack development capability and experience leading, coaching or mentoring engineers.
  • Experience with CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, automated testing, observability, security controls and production support.
  • Understanding of modern engineering approaches such as domain-driven design, feature toggles, trunk-based development and platform engineering principles.
  • Ability to move between technology stacks, learn quickly and solve problems pragmatically in fast-moving client delivery environments.
