About the Role
As a Senior Software Developer, you will be responsible for the development of new software applications and the enhancement, maintenance, and support of existing software applications within the Life & Health Subsidiary.
Responsibilities
- Coding and enhancing software applications using the Microsoft technology stack.
- Implementing user stories and technical requirements identified during sprint planning and participating in Scrum ceremonies, estimation activities, and release planning.
- Conducting code reviews and implementing unit testing to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Supporting and maintaining staging and production cloud environments.
- Troubleshooting and resolving defects and technical issues for clients and internal users.
- Working closely with developers, testers, business stakeholders, and end users to deliver business outcomes including knowledge sharing and continuous improvement across the team.
- Ensuring compliance, risk management, and governance requirements within the software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years' experience as a .NET Developer.
- Strong knowledge of Azure cloud environments and CI/CD practices, including Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Azure DevOps.
- Understanding of secure coding principles, including OWASP practices.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a Scrum team environment.
- Applicants must have unrestricted permanent rights to work in Australia (Australian citizenship or permanent residency only).
