About the Role
This internship offers hands-on experience and valuable exposure to Property insurance products, guiding interns with industry experts to evaluate risk, craft policies, and make strategic decisions in the dynamic field of insurance underwriting.
Responsibilities
- Assist in evaluating financial statements, credit reports, and industry trends to assess the risk profiles of potential clients.
- Support underwriting for new and renewal business in Financial Lines insurance, helping determine coverage terms and conditions.
- Analyze reports and industry data to understand how financial insights influence underwriting strategies.
- Collaborate with claims, legal, and finance teams to develop a well-rounded understanding of underwriting challenges and solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and gain the knowledge needed to build a successful career in underwriting.
Requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for understanding financial data.
