About the Role
dnata USA is seeking a Deicing Agent to perform basic de-icing services for commercial aircraft, ensuring safety and operational efficiency at major airports.
Responsibilities
- Comply with attendance/tardiness and uniform standards.
- Perform basic de-icing service to commercial aircraft.
- Check aircraft for leading edge ice and frost.
- Apply deice fluid type 1 and 4 to aircraft wings, fuselage, and tail.
- Drive large heavy vehicles around aircraft during de-icing operations.
- Accurately account for de-icing fluid transactions.
- Perform daily quality control checks on equipment and vehicles.
- Operate headset/radio for communication between ground crew, flight crew, and dispatch.
- Provide additional services as required by operational needs.
- Know and comply with all safety procedures.
- Meet station attendance standards.
- Work extended hours on short notice during irregular operations.
Requirements
- Possess/maintain a valid State driver’s license and other FAA/Airport required identification/seals or authorizations.
- Able to continually lift, push, or move 70 lbs.
- Must be flexible to work variable shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Specific shifts to be determined by administrative staff due to operational needs.
Skills
- Experience driving large, heavy equipment preferred.
- Able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
