About the Role

As a Solution Architect, you will help shape how Dynamics 365, Dataverse, Power Platform, and Azure work together across the organization. You will collaborate with business leaders, product teams, and developers to design scalable solutions, influence key decisions, and bring ideas to life. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong technical expertise with curiosity, practical problem-solving, and a passion for helping teams succeed.

Responsibilities

  • Architect secure, scalable, and supportable solutions across Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, including Sales and Customer Service, Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Automate, and related Microsoft technologies.
  • Translate business needs into solution designs, integration patterns, data models, technical requirements, and actionable delivery plans.
  • Evaluate solution options and clearly communicate recommendations, risks, costs, constraints, and tradeoffs to business and product stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, developers, security teams, and other stakeholders throughout discovery, design, and delivery.
  • Guide integrations between Dynamics 365, Azure services, APIs, SQL data sources, and approved third-party applications.
  • Provide technical leadership throughout implementation, including backlog refinement, design reviews, testing, release readiness, and validation against approved designs.
  • Establish and promote standards for development, application lifecycle management, source control, documentation, testing, security, and deployment.
  • Identify architectural, security, data, integration, licensing, and operational risks and recommend practical mitigation strategies.
  • Mentor developers and technical team members through design guidance, troubleshooting, reusable patterns, and knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate with architects across various teams and the broader enterprise to align solution designs with shared architecture standards, integration patterns, and strategic technology direction.

Requirements

  • Requires an Associate Degree in Information Technology, or an equivalent combination of education and job-related experience.
  • Extensive technical experience, including recent solution architecture and development experience with Dynamics 365 and Dataverse.
  • Proven experience architecting Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement solutions, particularly Sales and/or Customer Service.
  • Experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Logic Apps, and related Power Platform capabilities.
  • Experience designing integrations using Azure services, APIs, SQL databases, and other enterprise data sources.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps or comparable tools, source control, application lifecycle management, CI/CD automation, and enterprise deployment practices.
  • Understanding of security, privacy, identity and access management, compliance, and data-governance principles.
  • Experience translating architecture into executable delivery work within an Agile environment, combined with strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to influence decisions, mentor technical teams, and manage evolving priorities in a fast-paced, globally distributed environment.
