About the Role
Trend Micro, a global cybersecurity leader originating from Japan, aims to create a world where digital information can be exchanged securely. With over 35 years of experience, we protect the security environments of over 500,000 organizations and individuals. In this role, you will be stationed at public institutions, responsible for threat detection, incident response, and reporting, striving for early detection and minimization of damage from cyberattacks within customer environments.
Responsibilities
- Conduct Threat Hunting using various logs and products, and perform incident response tasks such as malware analysis and forensics.
- Build and improve security monitoring and response operations, and tune threat detection logic.
- Provide product support for Trend Micro products, collaborating with our L3 product team.
- Operate and propose improvements for defense systems utilizing our products.
- Offer advisory services on general security matters and handle customer interactions, including inquiries, incident reports, and regular reviews.
- Improve efficiency and automation of the above tasks, and generate insights for service quality improvement through incident trend analysis.
- Provide threat response support and disseminate information on threat trends.
- Work as part of a team of full-time Trend Micro employees stationed at the client's site.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in network, server, or infrastructure operations/construction, or in cybersecurity (e.g., risk analysis, security audits, incident response).
- Possession of one operational certification and one security certification.
- Basic English proficiency for gathering global threat intelligence and collaborating with global engineers.
