About the Role
This role involves supporting and enhancing the existing IDM infrastructure, implementing system updates, and providing technical assistance for onboarding new systems. The engineer will act as an Identity Management Subject Matter Expert (SME) and assist with project implementation, compliance reporting, and BAU support processes.
Responsibilities
- Support the existing IDM infrastructure and implement system updates.
- Create/update IDM Workflows.
- Create/update IDM drivers.
- Set up NAM environment (Installation/Configuration).
- Provide technical assistance with onboarding new connected systems.
- Serve as an IDM SME for the security group, helpdesk, and end users.
- Assist in project implementation.
- Produce compliance reports.
- Support role-based access control.
- Handle Service Requests.
- Monitor IDM servers.
- Perform system testing.
- Perform IDM maintenance including driver health, LDAP directory, role and resource maintenance, incident response, system support, updates, patches, modifications, new connectors, disaster recovery testing, workflow, report writing, monitoring, log management, and support for environment and employee changes.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues within the NetIQ product suite.
- Document detailed design and integration manuals.
- Manage BAU support processes like SLA management, incident/problem management.
Requirements
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with NetIQ Identity Manager.
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with NetIQ Access Manager.
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with LDAP.
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Webservices.
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Java.
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with eDirectory.
- Hands-on experience in setting up NAM environment (Installation/Configuration).
- Good knowledge of Protocols like SAML, OAuth & Reverse Proxy.
- Good and hands-on experience with Designer and connector development.
- Good understanding of Policy, Security Management and Certificate Management.
- Hands-on experience to set up a NetIQ LDAP proxy (Installation/Configuration).
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues within NetIQ product suite.
- Good experience in documenting detailed design and integration manuals.
- Good understanding of BAU support processes like SLA management, incident/problem management.
