About the Role
Responsible for preventive maintenance, minor repairs on all packaging machines, and adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) to ensure product quality and quantity.
Responsibilities
- Perform set-ups and equipment changeovers for packaging and process equipment, including capping, cartons, feeders, filling machines, labelers, coders, sealers, sorters, and wrappers.
- Apply general knowledge of mechanical fundamentals, including hydraulic drive systems, motors, gearboxes, belts, pulleys, and bearings.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical components, including photo sensors, solenoids, actuators, and cylinders.
- Utilize hardware and measuring tools, including metric and standard hardware, tape measures, and calipers.
- Perform preventative maintenance on all assigned production equipment following the PM checklist.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 3-year minimum experience in a production mechanical trade.
- Ability to conduct machine set-up, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance service.
- General understanding of equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Preventable Maintenance experience required.
- Understanding of Lock-out/Tag-out procedures.
- Must comply with GMP requirements.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
- Ability to work in a physically challenging environment, including bending, twisting, and standing for up to 8 hours.
- Must be able to clear drug screening processes, including testing for all illegal substances per Federal Guidelines.
