About the Role
This role involves working with middle-market private equity funds, independent sponsors, and family offices on leveraged buyouts, and with family-owned businesses and entrepreneurs on sell-side M&A transactions. You will serve as a key team member, gaining hands-on experience as the responsible attorney on M&A transactions, guiding clients through complex deals from start to finish. You will collaborate with colleagues across practice groups and offices, benefiting from the resources of an AM Law 200 firm while enjoying a collegial culture. Responsibilities
- Work with middle-market private equity funds, independent sponsors, and family offices in leveraged buyouts.
- Work with family-owned businesses and entrepreneurs in connection with sell-side M&A transactions.
- Serve as a key team member and gain hands-on experience as the responsible attorney on M&A transactions.
- Guide clients through complex deals from start to finish.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues across practice groups and offices.
- Participate in business development.
Requirements
- J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
- At least three (3) years of experience practicing law in a law firm and/or in-house environment.
- Active law license in New York or Pennsylvania.
- Must have permanent authorization to work in the United States.
