About the Role

Fastly is seeking a proactive and strategic Contracts Manager to help scale its commercial Legal and Contracts Management team. As trusted business partners empowering company growth, the ideal candidate possesses a strong foundation in contract administration, a passion for managing agreement lifecycles (sales, vendor, and partner contracts), and a track record of building effective relationships with internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Efficiently manage and process a high volume of contracts from initial intake through execution and opportunity close, utilizing core business systems such as Salesforce (SFDC) and automated Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) software
  • Demonstrate flexibility required to service a demanding sales organization during high-volume, critical time constraints at month-end and quarter-end close cycles
  • Collaborate daily with quote-to-cash teams (Deal Strategy, Sales, Revenue Operations, and Sales Operations) to support contractual terms and execute revenue transactions
  • Review requests for signatures against policy requirements and assist in reviewing and drafting non-complex negotiated legal agreements on Fastly forms following playbook guidance
  • Contribute to team documentation, playbooks, templates, and knowledge management to drive process improvements and operational efficiency
  • Maintain timely communication regarding the status of requests, tickets, and tasks, promptly escalating blockers and complex issues with appropriate recommendations and context

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2-4 years of contract management experience in SaaS, AI or other high-growth and fast-paced technology environments
  • Demonstrated experience and proficiency with CRM (Salesforce) and automated CLM tools (such as Ironclad and Docusign) and AI-assisted negotiation tools such as Claude or Gemini to efficiently scale commercial contracting deal support
  • Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly
  • Effective written and oral communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate contract administration issues to partners (e.g., attorneys, sales teams) and build trusted internal relationships
  • Strong time-management and organization skills, attention to detail, and sound judgment in executing risk-based assessments aligned with Contracts team policy frameworks
  • Direct experience implementing enterprise contract management tool rollouts, system migrations, or other major workflow optimizations
  • Background in contract administration/management at public companies and across multiple global jurisdictions
  • A fully completed application and resume or CV are required when applying.
