About the Role
This is a hands-on individual contributor role where you will shape priorities with the founding team, build foundations for product commercialization, and define product marketing's contribution to Phylo's brand and marketing strategy. You will own work from ideation through launch and follow-through, collaborating closely with product, engineering, scientific, and commercial teams. There are ample opportunities for broader brand and marketing ownership as the company expands.
Responsibilities

- Build customer stories from evidence by working with customers and Forward-Deployed Strategists to document workflows, results, and create case studies, use cases, and walkthroughs.
- Own product launches by defining audience, message, and launch plans, writing copy, developing demos, and coordinating contributors.
- Run a focused marketing plan, prioritizing stories and launches, managing deadlines, and owning distribution.
- Measure customer conversations, adoption, and contribution to qualified opportunities alongside engagement.
- Inform Phylo’s broader brand and marketing strategy by bringing customer insights, positioning, and launch learnings to the founding team.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience taking AI products to market, owning positioning, launches, demos, and customer materials for AI-dependent products.
- Ability to follow a research workflow, ask useful questions, and communicate credibly with scientists and R&D leaders.
- Experience in pharma, biotech, or life sciences is strongly preferred, or the ability to quickly learn and ramp up.
- An AI-native way of working, effectively using AI tools daily while maintaining strong product and creative taste.
- Excellent writing and editing skills to clearly explain complex capabilities and demonstrate relevance to scientists.
