About the Role
SALT Service Co. is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Electrical Maintenance Technician to perform residential electrical maintenance calls and identify opportunities for additional plumbing, HVAC, and electrical services. This role focuses on generating qualified leads, recognizing opportunities for major replacement projects, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, and proactive, with a strong commitment to quality workmanship and helping homeowners understand their service needs.
Responsibilities
- Perform residential electrical maintenance calls and identify opportunities for additional services.
- Generate qualified leads for the plumbing, HVAC, and electrical departments.
- Identify opportunities for major replacement projects, including full-service replacements, electrical rewires, and lighting projects.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by communicating professionally, identifying customer needs, and explaining recommended solutions.
- Follow company policies and procedures, including after-hours service fee requirements.
- Maintain a professional appearance, a clean work environment, and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Communicate with management when no jobs are assigned during normal working hours.
- Assist with additional duties as needed, which may include supporting installation teams, working on SALT properties, and participating in community outreach activities.
- Collaborate with management and other departments to support company goals and operational needs.
Requirements
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- A customer-first attitude and the ability to identify additional service opportunities.
- Dependability, professionalism, and a willingness to assist other teams when needed.
- The ability to work independently while collaborating with management and other technicians.
- A commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and company standards.
- A valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
- Residential electrical maintenance experience is preferred.
