About the Role
As a leading industrial distributor and Fortune 1000 company, Applied Industrial Technologies is hiring a full-time customer service representative (CSR) in Austin, TX. This role involves providing professional and timely support to our sales team and customers, helping them find products and services, solve needs, and build positive business relationships.
Responsibilities
- Handle customer inquiries, quotes, order processing, expediting, and returns.
- Source parts for customers.
- Assist in generating sales.
- Provide stockroom assistance as needed.
- Deliver orders to customers as needed.
Requirements
- 1+ year of customer service or inside sales experience.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to multitask.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including English grammar.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (MVR).
- Must be authorized to work in the US; sponsorship is not available.
- Not eligible for relocation benefits.
- Basic computer skills, including Excel.
