About the Role
Amarr, part of ASSA ABLOY, is seeking a motivated Warehouse Associate for their Austin, TX location. This physically demanding role involves consistent heavy lifting in a non-climate controlled environment. The ideal candidate is a hard worker, comfortable with physical tasks, customer-focused, a team player, and committed to long-term employment.
Responsibilities
- Unload and inspect incoming product (50-75lb) mostly by hand
- Pull, stage, and load product for customers, while providing excellent service
- Provide deliveries in a 26’ box truck as needed
- Assist with inventory and damage control
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with at least one year of driving experience
- Requires heavy repetitive lifting (50-75lb) and constant movement
- Must be able to pass all DOT requirements, including physical, background screening, and an MVR that meets Amarr driver standards
- Must be able to read and speak English per DOT guidelines
- Demonstrated history of steady employment
